Taylor and Biele Earn Top-25 Finishes in Dartmouth Giant Slalom

LYME, N.H. – Aaron Taylor and Parker Biele finished inside the top-25 of the Dartmouth Carnival giant slalom on Sunday, which was a makeup for the postponed event last Friday at the Dartmouth Skiway.
Taylor skied a combined time of 2:02.53 for 22nd overall in the men's race, posting a top-20 time in his second run. Biele was 22nd after the first run before finishing 24th in the women's GS with a time of 2:07.99.
Bobby Ryan was the second-highest finisher for the men's squad as he registered 40th place with a time of 2:04.75. Trent Gutstein, who led the men in each event at the Middlebury Carnival earlier in the weekend, earned 45th in 2:05.41.
On the women's side, Madeline Davis earned 44th with her time of 2:13.21, while senior Amanda Steffey took 50th in 2:13.85. Natalie Wetmore (2:15.87) and Dannica Ashnault (2:16.33) rounded out the women's finishers for BC.
Boston College travels to Sunday River next weekend (Feb. 22-23) for the 2019 EISA Championships, which will be held at the Bates Carnival in Maine.
