Strockis, McDuffie Named Eagles of the Week

Jill Strockis of volleyball and Isaiah McDuffie of football have been named the Musco Lighting Eagles of the Week.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Isaiah McDuffie and Jill Strockis have been named the Musco Lighting Eagles of the Week for their performances this past weekend.

McDuffie helped the football team top Pitt, 26-19, on Saturday afternoon to become bowl eligible. The Buffalo, N.Y. native made a game-high 13 tackles and recorded 2.0 sacks and 2.5 tackles for a loss. McDuffie, who missed the first nine games of the season recovering from a knee injury, also recorded one quarterback hurry.

Strockis and the volleyball team topped North Carolina State on Saturday to close out the regular season with a record of 20-11 to tie the program's all-time win record. Against the Wolfpack, Strockis registered 15 kills and 12 digs for her second double-double of the season. The senior from San Diego, Calif. finished with her best attack percentage of the season at .382.
