Eagles Open Fall Season at Brown Invitational

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Boston College men's tennis began its fall season at the Brown Invitational against Brown, Bryant, Quinnipiac, UConn and Villanova in a hidden dual format.
The Eagles won their singles matchups all three days against UConn, Quinnipiac and Brown, going a combined 15-6 for the weekend. BC also swept Quinnipiac in doubles on Saturday and split 2-2 against Brown on Sunday.
Boston College returns to action on Oct. 16-21 for the ITA Regional Championships, hosted by Penn in Philadelphia. Senior captain Derek Austin qualified for the ITA All-American Championships but will not compete due to injury.
