Eagles Dive Back Into Action

The Flynn Complex Pool will see two dual meets in the first action-filled weekend of 2019
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College swim and dive team is set to jump into the new year hosting two dual meets in their first competitive weekend of 2019. The Eagles host Dartmouth on Friday (Jan. 11) at 5:00 p.m. and Marist on Saturday (Jan. 12) at 1:00 p.m. as both meets will take place in the Flynn Recreation Complex pool.

Before the winter break, the Eagles faced UConn on Nov. 30. While the team fell overall, Colin O'Leary raked in a first-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:52.26 and Alexa Lantin placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing in 1:06.50. Maura Grimes (58.76) and Taylor Cortens (51.38) each placed second in their respective groupings for the 100-yard backstroke.

Following this weekend, the Eagles head to Tufts for a dual meet on January 20.
