Bowman, Dickens each notched double-doubles in career-high performances
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's basketball junior Ky Bowman and women's basketball freshman Makayla Dickens have been named the Nissan Eagles of the Week following their performances last week.

Bowman averaged 29.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 3.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per game in a two-game week for the Eagles. He poured in a career-high 44 points to go along with 10 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and five steals against Hartford on New Year's Eve. The 44 points marked the sixth-highest single-game scoring performance in BC history and were the second-most in Conte Forum history as well as the 13th 40-point game in BC history. Bowman also registered a career-high five steals and blocked two shots in 45 minutes of play in the Hartford game. At No. 10 Virgina Tech, the junior tallied 14 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals and connected on 48.6% (18-37) from the floor, including 7-of-16 from beyond the arc (43.8%) and 15-of-18 from the free throw line (83.3%).

Dickens averaged 16 points and 6.5 rebounds in a two-game week for the Eagles. The guard had 15 points, three rebounds and three assists against Georgia Tech on Jan. 3. Against No. 9 NC State on Sunday, the Virginia Beach, Va. Native earned her first career double-double with a 17 point, 10 rebound outing. Dickens, who had three assists against the Wolfpack, also shot 47 percent from the three-point line in the two conference contests.
