ACC Announces 2018 All-ACC Academic Soccer Team

Four Eagles earn All-ACC Academic team honors
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.— Boston College had four student-athletes named to the 2018 All-ACC Academic Women's Soccer Team, announced Thursday by the league office.
Graduate senior goalkeeper Alexis Bryant, junior forward Olivia Vaughn, sophomore midfielder Sam Coffey and freshman defender Kayla Duran were named to the All-ACC Academic Women's Soccer Team.
ACC regular-season champion and NCAA runner-up North Carolina led all schools with seven selections, followed by Duke (6), national champion Florida State (6), Virginia (6), Wake Forest (6), NC State (5), Boston College (4), Clemson (4), Louisville (4), Virginia Tech (4), Notre Dame (2) and Miami (1).
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
