Eagles Look to Continue Success at BU

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College swim and dive team looks to remain undefeated in 2019 as they head to cross-town rival Boston University for a dual-meet on Saturday. The competition is set to begin at 1:30pm in the Boston University Fitrec Center.

Most recently, the Eagles topped Tufts in impressive fashion, claiming 10 Tufts pool records on the day. The women's swim team earned 13 first-place finishes while the divers swept the top-three spots in the 3-meter dive. The swimmers on the men's side grabbed 11 top finishes while Robert McCrory swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive competitions.

The last time the Eagles and Terriers met was during the Terrier Invitational Nov. 16-18, where the Eagles set seven program records. The women's team placed second with 801.5 points while the Terriers finished first with 825. The men's team took the overall top spot with an impressive 1116.5 points on the day.

Following the dual-meet this weekend, the Eagles are set to compete in the Boston Winter Open on Feb. 8-9.
