Breslyn Clinton Signs On To Be An Eagle
September 26, 2018 | Women's Basketball
Eagles partner with Team Impact to welcome Newton’s Breslyn Clinton to the program.
The women's basketball team and Coach Joanna Bernabei-McNamee welcomed its youngest member to the program on Wednesday night when 7-year old Breslyn Clinton from Newton signed her National Letter of Intent at Conte Forum. Â This opportunity was made possible by Team Impact.
Family, friends and the BC women's basketball team, coaching staff, members from athletic community and Team Impact members joined Breslyn and her sister Noelle as Coach Bernabei-McNamee and sophomore guard Sydney Lowery talked about the importance of having her a part of the team. Breslyn signed a letter of intent – in all caps - to join the program
Coach Mac was quick to point out that Breslyn is her official "recruit" since she arrived at BC in May.
Â
Breslyn is an inspiration to the Boston College women's basketball team as she deals with daily hurdles since being diagnosed with Pilocytic Astrocytoma in 2017.
