Individual Results

Christian Cavaliere opened play with a 1-over par 73. He played a steady round, posting 14 pars and two birdies. Cavaliere entered tournament play ranked No. 1 nationally according to Golfweek's men's collegiate rankings.
Matt Naumec sits one shot behind Cavaliere, tying for 43rd place after and opening round 74. The senior bogeyed three of his first seven holes to start, but settled down the rest of the round, playing par golf for the final 11 holes of the day.
A trio of Eagles - Brandon Kewalramani, Mac Webster, and Kevin Paek - are tied for 49th place, each carding a first-day score of 75.
Kewalramani registered an eagle on the par 4 1st hole and was 4-under through 10 holes. He also added four birdies on the day.
Webster carded four birdies during his round - three coming on the back nine.
For Paek, it marked his low round of the season. He posted two birdies and 12 pars.
Jacksonville's Thomas Thurloway leads the tournament with an opening round 66 (-6).
