
Asiya Dair Named ITA Northeast Region Senior Player of the Year

Dair earns national honor
Boston College senior Asiya Dair was named a 2018 ITA Northeast Region Division 1 Senior Player of the Year as announced this week by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Dair, a native of Almaty, Kazakhstan , earned four consecutive All-ACC third team honors. She was the Eagles No. 1 player and in her final regular season home match, she upset Wake Forest's Emma Davis, who was ranked 27th in the nation. Dair, who was ranked 76th in the nation, also played third doubles with teammate Natasha Irani this past season.

The Boston College women's team finished the season at 13-11.
