BC takes four of six matches in singles play to earn the victory
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's tennis earned a 4-3 victory over #42 ranked Miami on Sunday afternoon at the Flynn Recreation Complex. It marks the first ACC victory of the season for the Eagles.

The Hurricanes began the match with the doubles point, winning at #1 and #3 doubles. BC's Max Palmer and Chris Grasel registered a 6-4 win at #2 doubles.
In singles play, BC won four of the six matches to seal the win. Derek Austin cruised, 6-2, 6-4, over Christian Langmo at #1 singles - the win coming over the #118th rated player in the nation. Grasel took a 7-5, 6-2 win at #2 singles over Adria Soriano - the 97th-ranked singles player nationally.
Markus Norby was a three-set winner, rallying back from dropping the first set to earn a 6-7, 7-6, 6-4 win. Sean Mullins downed Niles Clark, 6-2, 6-2 to win at #6 singles.
