RALEIGH, N.C. – The Boston College women's tennis team fell to No. 39 ranked NC State Sunday afternoon, 6-1, on the road.

NC State took the doubles point in two wins, leaving the No. 3 spot unfinished.

Junior Jackie Urbinati notched the sole Eagles point, defeating her opponent 6-4, 6-2 from the No. 4 positon.

Two ranked singles players beat BC at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions.

Up next, after taking a week for Spring Break, the Eagles will return home on March 16 to host Duke at 3 p.m.
