Duo teamed up for victory in singles play on Saturday afternoon

RALEIGH, N.C. – Boston College men's tennis dropped a 5-2 match at No. 29 N.C. State on Saturday at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center in Raleigh.

Derek Austin and Sean Mullins each earned victories in singles competition. Austin downed Igor Saveljic in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, to win his fifth match of the season in the #1 position.

Mullins earned his second victory of the weekend and fourth overall this year, in a three-set win at the #6 spot over Robert Turzak, 1-6, 6-4, 6-2.

Austin and Mullins teamed for the Eagles' lone win in doubles play, besting the Wolfpack pair of Ivan and Igor Saveljic in a 6-2 set.
