Women's Fencing Finishes Second at the Beanpot

Women's Fencing finished second at the Beanpot, beating Brandeis and MIT while falling to #6 ranked Harvard. Laura Donovan and Crystal Chen each posted individual records of 6-3 in sabre, while Brooke Solsky and Amanda Lewis each went 5-4 in Foil.

The men's team finished last, losing to Harvard, (ranked #1 in latest CF360 poll), Brandeis, and MIT. Connor Rounds in Sabre and Mateo Rueda in epee had the best individual results for the night, each finishing 5-4.

In other BC fencing news, the ACC named senior Amanda Lewis Fencer of the Week yesterday for her performance at the Eric Sollee Invitational. Amanda's overall season record is 32-22.
