Eagles in the Pros Update

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The 2018-19 professional hockey season is well underway, with 17 Boston College Eagles scattered across six teams in three leagues. In the National Women's Hockey League, 10 former BC student-athletes sit tied for first place overall, with nine skating for the 6-2-0 Boston Pride and one for the 6-2-0 Minnesota Whitecaps.

Lexi Bender | NWHL | Boston Pride
In eight games played, Bender has four assists and a plus-minus rating of six. Additionally, the defenseman has put 10 shots on goal.

Blake Bolden | NWHL | Buffalo Beauts
Bolden has played in all seven of Buffalo's games this season, assisting on two goals while firing 15 shots on goal from the blue line. Bolden has blocked three shots and has a plus-minus rating of +4.

Kristina Brown | CWHL | Worcester Blades
Brown has played in all 17 games for Worcester and has registered one assist.

Dru Burns | NWHL | Boston Pride
Burns has skated in one game for the Pride this season.

Katie Burt | NWHL | Boston Pride
Burt has started all eight of Boston's games this season, going 6-2-0 with a 2.12 goals against average and .913 save percentage. The Lynn, Mass. native made a career-high 36 saves in a 5-1 win at the Minnesota Whitecaps on Dec. 1 and has made 25 or more saves in four of eight games.

Alex Carpenter | CWHL | Shenzhen KRS Vanke Rays
Carpenter leads the Rays with 16 points on eight goals and eight assists. Carpenter has three power-play points (1G, 2A) and also two short-handed points (1G, 1A) while tallying one game-winning goal and a +7 rating.

Emily Field | NWHL | Boston Pride
Field started the 2018-19 season with a three-game point streak. The Littleton, Mass. native scored in consecutive games and then earned her first multiple-point outing of the season with two assists against the Metropolitan Riveters on Oct. 27.

Meghan Grieves | CWHL | Worcester Blades
The forward has skated in 17 games this year, registering two goals and two assists for four points. One of her assists came on the power play.

Kaliya Johnson | NWHL | Boston Pride
Johnson has skated in two games for the Pride this season.

Erin Kickham | CWHL | Worcester Blades
Kickham has played in all 17 games for the Blades and scored one goal.

Kate Leary | SWHL A | HC Lugano Ladies
Skating in Sweden for HC Lugano, Leary has scored 13 goals and assisted on seven others for 20 points in 10 games played.

Toni Ann Miano | NWHL | Boston Pride
In her first professional season, Miano has skated in all eight of Boston's games while logging three points on one goal and two assists. The Bronx, N.Y native is a +4 with 14 shots on goal and three blocked shots.

Emily Pfalzer | NWHL | Buffalo Beauts
Pfalzer has skated all seven of Buffalo's contests this season. The blue liner has scored one goal, registered four shots on goal and has a plus-minus rating of +2.

Haley Skarupa | NWHL | Boston Pride
In seven games this season, Skarupa has notched three goals and seven assists for a team-high and third-best in the NWHL 10 points. Skarupa has had four multiple-point outings this far and has three points (1G, 2A) on the power play. Her 28 shots on goal and 1.43 points per game average also leads the team.

Allie Thunstrom | NWHL | Minnesota Whitecaps
Thunstrom has appeared in all eight of Minnesota's games, earning four points on two goals and two assists while firing 27 shots on goal, which ranks second on the team. Thunstrom, who is a +3 on the year, had a two-goal outing in a win against the Riveters on Oct. 21.

Dana Trivigno | NWHL | Boston Pride
Trivigno registered a goal and an assist in a season-opening 5-1 win against the Riveters on Oct. 13 and overall, has five points on two goals and three assists in eight games. Trivigno, who has registered at least two shots on goal in every game, also sports a face-off winning-percentage of 53.2. Her 32 shots on goal is third in the NWHL.

Taylor Wasylk | NWHL | Boston Pride
Wasylk has skated in one game for the Pride this season.
