Full Refund Available for First Responder Bowl Tickets

DALLAS, Texas – Boston College William V. Campbell Director of Athletics Martin Jarmond announced today that fans who purchased First Responder Bowl tickets through Boston College will receive a full refund by January 2.

In addition, Jarmond announced that fans who purchased First Responder Bowl tickets through BC will receive free tickets for the number of bowl tickets purchased to any Boston College athletic event between now and next December. Full details on obtaining the free tickets are available by emailing athtick@bc.edu.

The SERVPRO First Responder Bowl between Boston College and No. 23 Boise State was canceled due to thunderstorms in the area of the Cotton Bowl. The game kicked off at 12:30 p.m. local time and entered a lightning delay at 1 p.m. After a one-hour and 20-minute delay, bowl officials called of the game due to severe weather. BC led 7-0 at the time as AJ Dillon scored a 19-yard touchdown on BC's opening drive.
Officially, the game is considered a no-contest and the statistics from the game do not count.
