Final Challenge For Eagles

The men's fencing team went 3-2 at the Brandeis Invitational on Sunday, while the women's team battled and finished 1-4.
On the men's side, Cameron Mayer had a solid day with a 12-2 record while Brend Meng posted a 10-2 day. Spencer Kuldell finished the day at 7-3. The women's team finished with a 1-4 record but three athletes - Madison Lee, Gabrielle Chau and Laura Boden - all won nine bouts.

 "Overall the teams fenced well. The women's team was hampered with injuries and still was able to compete with some of the best teams in the country. The men's team also fenced well. Seven of the nine starters are underclassmen and they raised their levels to match the caliber of their opponents.''
