Q & A With Samantha Agresti
November 19, 2018 | Women's Soccer
Incoming freshman talks about her experience at US Camp
Samantha Agresti was selected to the U.S. Under-19 Women's National Team roster for two matches against the Netherlands in October, 2018. She was one of 22 players selected for the trip to play at Sportpark Deto Twenterand in Vriezenveen, Netherlands. This was the first event of the new cycle for this age group.

Q & A with newly signed Samantha Agresti …
Q: How did it feel to represent the United States?
A: It's always an honor and privilege to represent the U.S. Every time I put on the crest it motivates me to work hard and represent my team and country well.
Q: What is the difference between the U-17 and U-19 national team camps?
A: There were not too many differences except for a few changes in style of play and principles, which are carried over from the different coaches. Besides that, the U.S. has a specific way of playing so it's not too hard to get integrated into different age groups.
Q: What was your favorite memory from this trip?
A: My favorite memory from this trip was going to the Schalke 04 vs. Hannover 96 game in Germany. The atmosphere in the stadium was amazing and it was fun to learn from and watch a professional game in Europe.
Q: Do you have a game day routine?
A: Not specifically. I just focus on getting my mind and body ready to play. I always listen to music to pump me up though.
Q: What are you looking forward to the most about being a part of the BC Women's Soccer family?
A: I'm most looking forward to playing at the college level and in the ACC, where I will be challenged every day by my teammates. I have been waiting four years for this moment and I'm so excited to officially become an Eagle. I can't wait to be a part of the BC women's soccer family.
