Eagles Kick Off Fall at Harvard Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. – The Boston College women's tennis team opened the 2017-18 campaign over the weekend at the Harvard Invitational. The Eagles performed well, going a combined 23-9 in all matches.

All 10 rostered Eagles competed in the event with junior Jackie Urbinati going 5-1 on the weekend between singles and doubles competition. Urbinati went 3-0 in singles, and 2-1 in doubles with sophomore Kylie Wilcox.

All four newcomers picked up their first collegiate wins against the Air Force on Friday in straight sets. Freshman Natashi Irani went 3-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles with partners Reagan Posorske and Elene Tsokilauri.

The Eagles will return to the court in a week when they travel to Los Angeles, Calif., for the All American Championship hosted by UCLA, Sept. 30.
