Miami Defeats BC in ACC Championship quarterfinals

Eagles finish season with first-ever ACC quarterfinal appearance
ROME, Ga. – The Boston College women's tennis team fell to No. 32 Miami, 4-0, in the ACC Championship quarterfinals Friday.

All three doubles matches went down to the wire, but the fourth-seeded Hurricanes clinched the doubles point with 7-5 victories on the Nos. 1 and 2 courts.

Miami clinched the victory against the 12th-seeded Eagles with wins in second, fourth and fifth singles.

BC finishes the season with an 11-14 record, making the ACC Championship quarterfinal for the first time in program history.
