- Freshman Christian Cavaliere led the way on day one with an even par 72. He had three birdies on his first nine and went out in 35.
- Sophomore Matthew Naumec was a stroke behind Cavaliere at +1 (73). He went -2 through his first nine holes with three birdies.
- Freshman Brendan Ridge finished +2 (74) which put him in 34th place. He shot an even par 36 on his back nine.
- Senior Patrick Oleksak ended the day at +5 (77), which is T44. He was -1 through his first 11 holes. He had a team-best five birdies which was tied for seventh on the day.
- Junior Patrick Hallisey was a stroke behind him at +6 (78). He steadied himself on the back nine with just one bogey. He had a team-high 13 pars which was the sixth-most in the field.
- Cavaliere, Ridge and Oleksak were all -2 on par 5s which ranked ninth in the 60-player field.
TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
- Boston College was tied for third in par 5 scoring (-6).
