Georges, France Defeat the US Women's National Team, 3-0

Boston College former defender Laura Georges helped the French Women's National Team win the 2017 SheBelieves Cup last night with a 3-0 victory over the US Women's National Team at RFK Stadium.
Georges, who played 90 minutes in last night's victory, was the ACC's Defender of the Year in 2006. She graduated in 2006 and was an NSCAA All-American and a first team All-ACC selection.
The French team, which is currently ranked third in the world by the FIFA World Rankings, went 2-0-1 in the three-game tournament. France defeated England, 2-1, in the first game in Pennsylvania. France and German played to a 0-0 draw on Saturday at Red Bull Stadium in New Jersey.
Georges and her teammates will head to the Netherlands to play two friendly matches in April.
