The Boston College women's basketball team will host No. 21/24 Syracuse on Sunday at 2 p.m. Fans can view the game on ESPN Network Extra with Bill Spaulding on play-by-play and former Eagle guard Kerri Shields as the color analyst.

Boston College is coming off a tough home loss to No. 5/6 Florida State on Thursday. BC was led by sophomore Mariella Fasoula with 14 points and senior Kelly Hughes with 13 points.

Syracuse defeated Pittsburgh, 93-65, on Thursday night behind a 31 points-14 rebound performance from senior Briana Day.

BC vs. Syracuse
- This is the 50^th meeting between BC and the Orange.
- Syracuse leads the overall series, 26-23.
- The two teams met earlier in the season at the Carrier Dome. The Eagles lost, 79-52, despite 12 points and eight rebounds from Kelly Hughes.
- Last season the Eagles lost to Miami, 67-62, on Feb. 4. Mariella Fasoula had 19 points while Kelly Hughes pitched in with 12 points. In the second game last season, Syracuse defeated BC, 71-55, on Feb. 25 at Conte Forum.

The schedule will not get any easier as the Eagles will travel to North Carolina to play unranked UNC and then head to No. 9 Louisville next Sunday followed by No. 19/19 NC State, No. 7/8 Notre Dame before hosting #RV Virginia Tech in the final regular season game on Feb. 26.
