#BCEagles Newsstand: National Signing Day
February 03, 2017 | Football, Boston College Athletics
Headlines around the country featured some of the newest Boston College Eagles.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – As college football's National Signing Day came to a close Wednesday, Feb. 2., head coach Steve Addazio was pleased to welcome the newest class of Eagles to The Heights.
After catching the nation's attention with his "Salt Bae" impression, Addazio and his staff watched as 19 players signed their NLIs. On top of the list of newcomers was four-star running back AJ Dillon, who is expected to have a large impact on the program.
Another player with high expectations was linebacker Isaiah McDuffie from Bennett High School in New York. Setting multiple school records, the Western New York Player of the Year will join his new teammates this summer.
On the offensive side of the ball, running back Travis Levy looks to assist the backfield and quarterback EJ Perry, drawn by the pedigree of the program, will add more depth to the position.
Addazio also welcomed four players from the state of New Jersey – defensive back Jahmin Muse, linebacker Paul Theobald Jr., offensive lineman Ben Petrula and defensive end Marcus Valdez.
