Coffey Invited To U-20 Training Camp

Boston College incoming freshman Samantha Coffey has been named to the U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team that will train and compete in an International Tournament in La Magna, Spain from Feb. 26-March 8.
Coffey and her teammates will play the Under-19 sides from Norway on March 3 followed by Germany on March 5. The final game the US will play France on March 7. The matches can be viewed online so follow U.S. Soccer's Twitter account for the Youth National Teams @ussoccer_ynt for more information.
Coffey, a native of Sleepy Hollow, New York, is one of eight players the Eagles have added to the roster for the 2017 season.
A midfielder or forward, Coffey was with the Under-19 Women's National team in January. She has attended six training camps with the Under-18 team and played in two international tournaments. Coffey was a four-time MVP and three-time league Player of the Year at Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York. She scored over 100 goals in her career at Masters.
Coffey will join the Eagles in August when training camp begins.
