Robertson Records Impressive Time at Middlebury Carnival

The Boston College ski team traveled to Middlebury, Vt., for the Middlebury Carnival on Feb 17-18. BC men place 10^th in the giant slalom event with 52 points. The women's team placed 13^th in the giant slalom. In the men's slalom BC was 10^th while the women's team was 11^th.

BC HIGHLIGHTS

Junior Carter Robertson placed 17^th out of 56 finishers in the men's giant slalom. Over his two runs in the event, he recorded a time of 2:04.46.
Junior teammate Jak Kennedy was 30^th in the giant slalom with a total time of 2:05.42.
Rounding out the pack in the event was senior Ryan Barney, sophomore Aaron Taylor, and junior Trevor Lennox with respective finishes of 39^th, 46^th, and 49^th. Barney recorded a final time of 2:06.30; Taylor recorded a 2:07.11; and Lennox finished with 2:08.22.
In the women's giant slalom, sophomore Amanda Steffey was the Eagles' only finisher with a total time of 2:14.13 (40^th place).
Barney, Taylor, and Robertson also raced in the men's slalom. Barney led the pack with a 33^rd place finish and a time of 1:40.88. Taylor notched a 39^th-place (1:44.84). Robertson rounded out the squad with a 45^th (2:02.24).
Dannica Ashnault competed in the women's slalom, where she placed 39^th overall and recorded a total time of 1:50.05.
Sophomore Natalie Wetmore also competed in the event and finished 45^th (1:55.41).
