Taylor and Robertson Lead the Pack at Dartmouth Carnival

The Boston College ski team was back on the slopes for the Dartmouth Carnival on Feb. 10-11 in Hanover, N.H.

Sophomore Aaron Taylor and junior Carter Robertson had impressive performances in their respective events. Taylor placed 20^th out of 53 finishers in the men's giant slalom with a time of 2:06.39 over two runs. Robertson was not far behind in 22^nd place with a total time of 2:06.71. Junior Brian Mangiacotti also raced but did not finish. The Eagles earned 48 points and placed ninth as a team.

Robertson also performed in the men's slalom, as he led the Eagles with a 20^th-place finish out of 45 participants. He recorded a total time of 1:41.99 over his two runs and earned 25 points for BC. Senior Ryan Barney also raced with a total time of 1:45.06 and a 30^th-place finish on the leaderboard. Junior Trevor Lennox recorded a 1:45.89 time and finished 33^rd. Taylor rounded out the pack with a 43^rd-place finish and a 2:04.09 time. The quad earned 49 points as a team and placed ninth in the event.

Senior Kristie Ryan raced in the women's giant slalom but did not finish.

The Eagles will be back in action on Feb. 17-18 for the Middlebury Carnival in Middlebury, Vt.
