GOAL DESCRIPTIONS
FIRST GOAL (1-0 – BC) FIRST PERIOD – David Cotton – 17:31 – EVEN
- Freshman forward David Cotton tallied his ninth of the season late in the first period, carrying the puck up the left side of the ice and firing a wrister on net from the front of the circle that beat the Northeastern netminder stick side for the game's first goal.
SECOND GOAL (1-1) SECOND PERIOD – Matt Filipe – 12:26 – EVEN
- Northeastern evened the score in the second period after the Huskies' Matt Filipe intercepted the puck from a BC defender in the Eagles offensive zone and skated the length of the ice, finishing the play by going top shelf on Woll.
THIRD GOAL (2-1 NU) THIRD PERIOD – Matt Filipe – 6:47 – EVEN
- Filipe added his second of the game in the third period to help Northeastern grab its first lead of the evening. With the Huskies in possession in front of the Eagles net, Brendan Collier found a trailing Filipe coming down center ice to beat Woll stick side.
