CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Three members of the Boston College men's hockey program including goaltender Joseph Woll (St. Louis, Mo.) and Aapeli Rasanen (Tampere, Finland) have been named to their respective preliminary rosters for the 2018 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship from Dec. 26, 2017 - Jan. 5, 2018, in Buffalo, New York.

Team USA and Finland have won gold in the last two World Junior Championships, respectively.
Boston College associate head coach Greg Brown (Scituate, Mass.) will also be an assistant coach for Team USA. This will be Brown's third time behind the bench for Team USA as he helped the red, white and blue to gold last year. He was also an assistant coach in 2015.
Team USA will attend training camp Dec. 15-19 at Nationwide Arena and OhioHealth Ice Haus in Columbus, Ohio, followed by an additional camp in Jamestown, New York, from Dec. 20-23.
