The Boston College football team earned its third straight ACC victory when it beat Florida State, 35-3, at the annual Red Bandanna game in front of a crowd of 40, 629 at Alumni Stadium on Friday night.
Though Florida State is a wounded team that entered Friday night with a 2-4 record, the Eagles never underestimated the Seminoles and took the field on Friday ready to compete.
The 35 points scored were the most scored by the Eagles in any of their games against FSU. The defense had a strong game as well, forcing two turnovers and holding the 'Noles to 213 yards of total offense with 10 first downs.
BC also snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Seminoles that dated back to 2009. The victory has given the Eagles confidence moving forward.
Coming off of a 45-42 victory over Louisville, a 41-10 defeat of Virginia, and now a 35-3 win against FSU, the Eagles offense has certainly begun to find itself.
Young players continue to step up, including redshirt freshman wide receiver Kobay White who made a 76-yard reception against Virginia and a 34-yard catch versus FSU with a touchdown in each game.
The Eagles enter the bye week with positive feelings as their record has improved to 5-4 and 3-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
