Basketball program continues to show growth, Men's Hockey prepares for another Beanpot, women's hockey eyes tournament play and a football alum gets ready for the Super Bowl
Men's Basketball: The basketball team continues to attract attention with the help of freshman Ky Bowman and sophomore Jerome Robinson. With the duo's success this season, it's apparent that the program is heading in the right direction.
Scoring 33 points against North Carolina, Bowman is also making teams that passed on him regret that decision.
Men's Ice Hockey: One week away from the 65th Annual Beanpot Tournament, coaches and players from the four competing schools met for the Beanpot luncheon Monday afternoon at TD Garden. At the lunch, former and current coaches spoke about the history and importance of the annual event.
Women's Ice Hockey: Â With the women's hockey team approaching tournament season, Nicole Haase at USCHO takes a look at how the Eagles have grown and thrived this season after the loss of all-world players last year.Â
The Eagles enjoyed a bye last weekend before starting Beanpot play on Tuesday. Assistant coach Gillian Apps - a three-time gold medalist for Canada - returned home to Ontario to speak about her career and her impact on a generation of young hockey players.
Football: Long before Falcons' quarterback Matt Ryan was preparing to play in a Super Bowl, he was creating a name for himself in Alumni Stadium and was proving to be a class act around the Boston College campus.
While the origin of the "Matty Ice" nickname remains uncertain, no one can argue about the type of person he was.
