HOW IT HAPPENED
- 2nd, 6:22 | 1-0, BC GOAL (PPG) – Megan Keller, Andie Anastos and Makenna Newkirk worked the puck along the far wall before Anastos fired a shot near the base of the face-off circle. She picked up the rebound in the other circle, skated behind the net and connected with Newkirk just off the edge of the crease. Newkirk took the pass and banged it in high for her third goal of the weekend and a 1-0 BC lead.
- 2nd, 7:29 | 2-0, BC GOAL – Ryan Little played the puck ahead of Caitrin Lonergan as she was going off for a change, and Lonergan took space in the zone. UVM goaltender Madison Litchfield committed to a potential shot, and then Lonergan threw a centering pass in where Kali Flanagan cut around a defender and connected on the backdoor and slid her shot under Litchfield for the 2-0 lead.
- 2nd, 10:23 | 3-0, BC GOAL (PPG) - Delaney Belinskas won the faceoff to start a BC power play and drew it back where Caroline Ross got possession at the point. She fed Flanagan on the left point, who sent a shot in that Belinskas deflected in and under Litchfield just eight seconds after the start of the man advantage.
