#BCEagles Newsstand: Building Momentum
September 28, 2016 | Football, Boston College Athletics
with the win over Wagner and Buffalo coming Saturday, this is the perfect opportunity for Boston College to build the momentum they have been searching for.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – On Saturday, the Boston College football team got back on the right track with a 42-10 win over Wagner on their home opener. With the win, the Eagles move to 2-2 on the season and Graduate QB Patrick Towles contributed to four touchdowns, two rushing and two passing.
While their were plenty of positives in the game their we some issues that concerned head coach Steve Addazio, including the inconsistency of the offensive line.
"I would say to you that (the offensive line) was consistently inconsistent. I need to watch that. It's the same thing. We're young at wide receiver and on the offensive line, and this is what goes part and parcel with this."
None the less, in past weeks it has been tough for the Eagles to build any momentum and have been up and down so far this season. However, with the win over Wagner and Buffalo coming Saturday, this is the perfect opportunity for Boston College to build the momentum they have been searching for.
