Go, McCoy Named Eagles of the Week

Pair honored for performances last week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Freshman Lois Kaye Go (women's golf) and senior forward Eryn McCoy (field hockey) have been named Eagles of the Week.

Go finished third overall in the Golfweek Program Challenge to pace Boston College to its second consecutive victory. She shot a 71-72-71 (214) for a total of +1 on the par 71 course over three rounds. Go shot even par on day one and three, and finished with nine birdies and 36 pars for the tournament.

McCoy matched her single-season high with eight points in the Eagles' 8-1 win over Northeastern on Sunday. Her hat trick against the Huskies was the second of her career. McCoy leads BC with three assists and is second with three goals and nine points.

Women's golf will compete in the Dartmouth Invitational this weekend. No. 9 field hockey (4-3, 1-1 ACC) hosts Virginia and Massachusetts this weekend.
