Meehan Named ACC Offensive Player Of The Week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.
Senior McKenzie Meehan has been named to the ACC Offensive Player of the Week scoring two game-winning goals in both of Boston College's wins this past week.
The Glocester, Rhode Island product scored in the 27th minute in a 3-0 victory over Harvard on Wednesday. She then scored the game-winner in a 2-1 double-overtime win over Northeastern on Sunday. Meehan scored in the 101st minute of play off a header on a free kick.
Meehan led Boston College with 10 shots and five shots on goal in the two matches. She now leads BC in goals scored (7) and points (15).
The Eagles will host LIU Brooklyn on Wednesday at 4 p.m. and head to Durham this weekend to play at Duke on Sunday (ACC Network).
