The Boston College women's soccer team will travel down Commonwealth Ave to play non-conference rival Boston University on Sunday at Nickerson Field (7 p.m.). BC is currently 2-0-1, while the Terriers are 0-3-0.
LAST TIME OUT
· Graduate senior McKenzie Meehan scored two goals and rookie Olivia Vaughn scored her first career goal to lead BC past Stony Brook, 3-0, on Thursday night. Freshman goalkeeper Erin Seppi earned her first win with four saves. Freshman Jenna Bike had the game-winning assist.
· Boston University is coming off a tough 2-0 loss at Hofstra on Thursday night. Both of Hofstra's goals came in the second half. BU had nine shots on goal to Hofstra's five. The Terriers have also suffered losses to Arizona State, 2-1, in the season opener and a 1-0 loss to No. 15 UConn.

· Four rookies have cracked the starting lineup for the Eagles in three games – Jenna Bike, Jade Ruiters, Samantha Hiatt and Kayla Jennings (R-Fr.). The fifth freshman to earn a start was goalkeeper Erin Seppi who picked up the win vs. Stony Brook on Thursday.
· McKenzie Meehan had the game-winning goal vs. Stony Brook. It was her 16th career game-winner, which ties her with all-time program leader, Brooke Knowlton '10. The two goals gave Meehan 102 career points. She needs just 14 points to tie the Eagles all-time leading point scorer Kristie Mewis '13 at 116 career points.
· On Sunday, Sept. 4, the Boston College women's soccer team will hold an ALS Game with a halftime recognition. The team has been holding an ALS Game since the 2009 season when former Eagles midfielder Julia Boutella's father William Bouchelle, passed away from the disease.
