CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College field hockey's Lucy Lytle will be taking her talents overseas.
The Lake Forest, Ill., native was named to the U-19 US Women's National Team Germany Tour roster Tuesday afternoon. The team will be heading to Bad Breuznach, where it will play three matches against Germany's Junior Team at Bad Kreuznach Hockey Club from May 11-17.
"I'm so excited to have the opportunity to play for team USA in Germany," said Lytle. "My freshman year at Boston College has definitely prepared me for international hockey and I can't thank the BCFH family enough for the endless support along the way."
Lytle played a key role for the Eagles this season as a freshman, tallying 10 points (four goals, two assists) in 22 appearances while making three starts.
