Eagles Add Three To Incoming Class of 2016

Eagles have 11 new players for the 2016 season.

The Boston College women's soccer team will add three student-athletes to the 2016 class, announced head coach Alison Foley this afternoon. BC will welcome Francesca Venezia from New York, Erin Convery from New Jersey and Kaitlyn Bryan from Brewster, Mass. The three will give BC 11 incoming players in August of 2016.
Venezia, Convery and Bryan join Jenna Bike from Trumbull, Conn.; Samantha Hiatt from Seattle, Washington; Kayla Jennings, from Montclair, New Jersey; Caitlyn Keenan, from Bow, New Hampshire; Emily Langenderfer from Lone Tree, Colorado; Jade Ruiters from Kensington, Maryland; Emily Seppi, from Monroe Township, New Jersey and Olivia Vaughn from Montclair, New Jersey which will make up the incoming Class of 2016 for the Eagles.
Francesca Venezia – Forward – East Meadow – Wantagh, New York
A member of the East Meadow Soccer Club in 2014 and 2015 … Prior to that she played for Albertson Soccer Club from 2007-2014 … Attended the 2015 and 2014 ECNL PDP Northeast ID Camp as well as the 2014 Puma Women's Elite Showcase in Florida … Plays at St. Anthony's High School in Huntington, New York … Scored 44 career goals and 15 assists … Played for the East team in the 2015 High School All-American game in Dec. … Played for the Girls U.S. Under-14 National team in May 2012 along with future BC teammates Jenna Bike and Kaitlyn Bryan.
Erin Convery – Defense – PDA – Basking Ridge, New Jersey
Plays for PDA (Players Development Academy) out of New Jersey from 2008 to present … Plays outside defender for head coach Meg Ryan … 2015 U-17 ECNL National Champions … Played at Ridge High School for head coach Katie Donahue, a BC soccer alumni … Scored 19 goals and had 12 assists … First-team All-State and All-American … 2014 Skyland Conference Champions and 2013 Somerset Country Champions … National Honor Society and a 2014 & 2015 volunteer on the Foundation for Peace Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic.
Kaitlyn Bryan – Forward – Stars of Massachusetts – Sanford, Maine
A member of FC Starts of Massachusetts for Jason Dewhurts … A center forward … New England Class C Champions in 2012 and 2015 … Played at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire for Matthew Butcher … Played for the Girls U.S. Under-14 National team in May 2012 with future BC teammates Jenna Bike and Francesca Venezia … John Brewster Scholar from 2012-16.
