
Olivia Adragna Named ACC Epee Fencer Of the Year

The Atlantic Coast Conference Men's and Women's Fencing individual awards for the 2016 season were announced on Thursday. The honors were voted on by the league's four head coaches.
Boston College junior Olivia Adragna was recognized as the ACC's Women's Most Valuable Fencer at the ACC Championships. Â
Adragna was named the conference Women's Fencer of the Year for Épée. A native of Malverne, New York, Adragna was voted as the Women's Most Valuable Fencer at the ACC Championship after going 12-3 in round robin competition. During the regular season, the senior epeeist went 40-19 and was named ACC Women's Fencer of the Week on January 23.
