Bichette Placed Seventh At NCAA Fencing Championship

Renee Bichette, a junior, became the first Boston College fencer in program history to crack the top eight at the NCAA Fencing Championships. A native from Orlando, Florida, Bichette, placed seventh and was named an All-American with her results.
In the two-day competition, Bichette went 13-10 with wins over eventual gold medalist Jessie Gottesman-Radanovich of Penn State and silver medalist Charlene Liu of Princeton. Â
