Men's Swimming Completes Impressive Season

NC State takes home second consecutive ACC title

The BC men's swim team ended the season on a strong note in Greensboro, NC. The 2016 Men's ACC Championships lasted from Wednesday February 24^th through Saturday February 27. BC was represented by Josh Williams, McKenzie Cole, David Howard, Dan Kelly, Cole Malatesta, Jack McCarthy, Robert McCrory, Taylor Cortens, Anthony Richardson, Matthew Zerweck, Keating Mosher, Kevin McCoy, Billy Miller, Nicholas Junghahn, Cole Vanderwel, Colin Derdeyn, John Mooers, Conor Chamness, Emmett Johnson, David Hunter, Daniel Creighton and Estephen Saliba. NC State claimed their second consecutive ACC title and the Eagles finished in 11^th place, beating Miami.

BC Highlights

Dan Kelly had top swims in the 50 yd. freestyle with a time of 19.78 in the finals, coming in 11^th place overall, and also in the 100 yd. freestyle with a time of 44.45.
Anthony Richardson had a personal best in the 500 yd. freestyle, clocking in at 4:32.26 to finish in 36^th place overall
Kevin McCoy had a personal best in the 400 yd. IM with a time of 3:57.61 for 33^rd place, while teammate Taylor Cortens took 31^st place with a time of 3:57.18.
Taylor Cortens had a personal best in the 200 yd. backstroke with a time of 1:47.56 and finished in 28^th place overall.

BC completes the season with an undefeated record in dual meets. Congratulations to all swimmers on a fantastic season and to all seniors on great careers.
