Workman, Mukai and Melvin all win both matches against the Huskies
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's tennis team swept Connecticut in a non-league match on Saturday afternoon at the Flynn Recreation Complex.
Hank Workman, Kent Mukai and Jeffrey Melvin all went 2-0 on the day, winning both their singles and doubles matches.
BC took the doubles point with wins on the No. 1 and 3 courts. Melvin and Mukai have won their last five matches in the No. 3 spot.
The Eagles swept the singles matches in straight sets to complete their first 7-0 win on the season.
BC returns to action on Thursday, March 3, when they host Notre Dame at 10:30 a.m. at the Flynn Complex.
