ABOUT BC
- Boston College will travel to Indian to play No. 2/3 Notre Dame on Saturday at Purcell Pavilion at 1 p.m. It will be the second meeting between BC and Notre Dame this season. Â The Irish defeated BC, 63-50, on Jan. 14 at Conte Forum.
- The Eagles (14-14, 2-13 ACC) are coming off a, 71-55, home loss to No. 18/18 Syracuse on Thursday night. BC was led by rookie center Mariella Fasoula with 15 points and eight rebounds. It was the 22nd game that the first-year starter has reached double-figures for the Eagles.
- Notre Dame (26-1, 14-0 ACC) cruised to a, 71-52, victory over Clemson on Thursday. It was the 20th consecutive victory by the Irish. Notre Dame is the only undefeated team in the ACC. The only blemish on the schedule for the Irish was on Dec. 5 against Connecticut, 91-81.
- Rookie center Mariella Fasoula continues to be one of the top first-year players in the ACC. The 6-foot-4 center is second among all ACC rookies in scoring and is second in the conference in field goal percentage (56%). Fasoula had 15 points and eight rebounds against Syracuse on Thursday night. It marked the 22nd time Fasoula reached double-figures this season. She has notched double-figures in 14 consecutive games. She is the Eagles second leading scorer (14.0 ppg.) and second in rebounds (5.2 rpg.).
- Junior Kelly Hughes had six rebounds vs. Syracuse on Thursday night. She is now the 16th player in program history to have over 1,000 points and 500 rebounds. She leads the Eagles in scoring (14.1 ppg.) and rebounding (5.7 rpg.). Hughes has posted four double-doubles and has led the team in scoring in 13Â games.
- Senior Nicole Boudreau, junior Kelly Hughes and sophomore Martina Mosetti are the only three players on three players to start every game this season.

- This will be the 23rd meeting between BC and Notre Dame. The Irish have won the last seven games between the two teams.
- BC is 4-7 at Conte Forum against Notre Dame. On the road, Boston College is 0-10.
- Earlier in the season, Notre Dame defeated Boston College, 63-50, at Conte Forum. Freshman Mariella Fasoula had 20 points, while junior Kelly Hughes had eight points and five boards. She also became the fifth player in program history to hit 200 career three-pointers.
LAST FOUR GAMES
- BC is 1-3 in the last four games win the win over Clemson on Feb. 18. The Eagles lost to UVA on Feb. 14, No. 11 Louisville on Feb. 21 and No. 18 Syracuse on Feb. 25.
- The Eagles averaged just 54.2 points in the four games, while their opponents averaged 62.8 points.
- Boston College shot 40 percent from the field but took 40 less shot than its opponents. From the three-point arc, Boston College averaged 5.8 made a game and shot 34 percent while opponents averaged 5.3 three's and shot 28 percent.
- BC won the battle of the boards in the four game run, 136-134.
- The Eagles also averaged 15 assists a game in the run while opponents averaged just 12 assists a game.
- Where Boston College continually gets hurt in games would be turnovers. BC committed 83 turnovers in the four games. The Eagles opponents gave the ball up just 53 times and averaged 10.8 steals a game.
- Offensively, BC is led by rookie center Mariella Fasoula who shot 52 percent from the floor and 75 percent from the foul line and averaged 14.3 points per game. She also averaged 5.8 rebounds per game.
- Junior Kelly Hughes shot 37.5 percent from the floor, 46 percent from long range (13-for-28) in the four games. She averaged 13.3 points per game.
- Nicole Boudreau averaged 34.5 minutes, averaged four points but led the team in assists at 4.5 helpers a game.
- R-junior Kailey Edwards continues to be a spark off the bench. She averaged 27.5 minutes per game, pitched in with 6.6 points and shot 90 percent from the foul line in the four game run.
UP NEXT
- This is the final regular season game of the 2015-16 campaign. The ACC Tournament will begin on Wednesday. The seeds will be released by the ACC on Sunday night.
