GAME NOTES
- This will be the 23rd matchup between the Eagles and Crusaders dating back to the first matchup between the two schools in April 1994. BC has dominated the series, having won 19 of the 22 matchups, including the last eight. BC's 19 wins against HC is the most against any program in its 25 years existence.The next most wins against a single opponent for the Maroon and Gold is Virginia Tech, who they have beat 12 times dating back to 2001.
- In the most recent matchup between Holy Cross and BC, the Eagles erupted for 17 goals in a 17-6 victory that saw four different players notch hat tricks for the visiting squad.
- Holy Cross is coming off a 16-5 defeat at Massachusetts on February 12. The Crusaders are led by first year staff that includes coach Amanda Belichick and assistants Katie Ferris and Laura Zinkland. Five different players recorded a goal for HC in the loss on Friday.
- In Friday's win over rival Boston University, BC tallied 18 goals from eight different players. It was the most goals scored by the Acacia Walker's team since April 18th of the last season, when the squad racked up 20 goals at New Hampshire in a 20-7 feat.
- In her first collegiate game, freshman midfielder Sam Apuzzo registered four goals on eight shots. The West Babylon, N.Y. native becomes the first BC freshman to tally a hat trick in her first collegiate game since Sarah Mannelly totaled four goals and four assists in her collegiate debut on February 16, 2013 against Holy Cross. The Eagles won that game, 17-8.
- After notching five points on Friday, Caroline Margolis is now one point shy of her 100th career point. When she achieves that, she will be become the 20th Eagle to tally 100 career points.
- The Eagles have won its last five regular season games dating back to last season. The last regular season loss for the Eagles came vs. Duke on April 4, 2015 (13-8). BC fell in the ACC Quarterfinals to Syracuse (14-13, 2OT) and to Loyola (Md.) in the NCAA Tournament (19-12) during that span.

- Eight different Eagles notched points in the season opening victory over Boston University on Friday, February 12.
