Dartmouth College Carnival Recap

The Boston College men's and women's ski teams participated in the Dartmouth College Carnival this past weekend in Lyme, NH, at the Dartmouth Skiway.
For the Eagles in the women's giant slalom, the top finishers were freshmen Natalie Wetmore and Amanda Steffey, and junior Bug Pech. Wetmore, Steffey and Pech all finished consecutively in 32nd, 33rd, and 34th place, respectively, out of 60 finishers. The women placed 8th out of the 13 teams competing in the event.
On the men's side of the giant slalom, sophomore Carter Robertson was the Eagles' top finisher, coming in at 24th place out of 58 finishers. Sophomore Jak Kennedy also rounded up a solid finish, coming in at 34th place, followed behind freshman Aaron Taylor at 39th place. The men too came in 8th place out of 13 teams in the giant slalom.
In the women's slalom, freshman Dannica Ashnault was the top finisher for BC, placing 24th out of 59 finishers. Other finishers for the Eagles included Pech at 36th and junior Kristie Ryan at 38th. The women finished in 11th out of 13 teams in the slalom.
Finally, in the men's slalom, the trio of Kennedy, Robertson and Taylor led the way for the Eagles, leading to another 8th place finish in the event out of 13 teams. Respectively, Kennedy, Robertson and Taylor finished in 26th, 30th, and 31st places out of 58 finishers.
Next weekend, the Eagles will travel west to Hancock, MA, for the Williams College Carnival, the final carnival of the season.
