- Boston College (13-10, 1-9 ACC) is in the midst of a six-game skid. In the six games, BC has lost at NC State (74-63); to UNC (86-78 on Sunday), No. 16/20 Miami by six points, Georgia Tech by six points, and RV/RV Syracuse by one point and Wake Forest by six points.
- The Eagles lost to NC State, 74-63, on Thursday night in Raleigh. The Eagles were led by Kelly Hughes with 21 points and six boards while freshman center Mariella Fasoula chipped in with 19 points and five rebounds. NC State scored 14 second chance points and had 19 points off the Eagles 17 turnovers.
- UVA is coming off its sixth straight loss. The Cavaliers lost at Syracuse, 91-57, on Thursday night. The Cuse led 57-30 at the half. Mikayla Venson led the Cavs with 16 points while Aliyah Huland El pitched in with 15 points and six rebounds.
- Senior Nicole Boudreau tied a program record when she hit eight three's vs. UNC. She finished with 26 points and eight assists. She moved into second on the all-time three's made list at BC and now is nine away from breaking the program record of 252.
- Rookie Mariella Fasoula leads all ACC rookies in scoring (14 ppg.) and is fourth in the conference in field goal percentage (56.7%). Fasoula earned Eagle of the Week honors twice this season. Against ACC play, Fasoula is averaging 16.3 points per game and 5.2 rebounds. She is shooting 54.5 percent in conference. Fasoula has scored in double-figures in 18 games, including the last 10 games.
- Junior Kelly Hughes leads BC in scoring (14.3 ppg.) and rebounding (5.9 rpg.). She has posted four double-doubles and has led BC in scoring in 11 games.

THIS DAY IN HISTORY
- In Coach Johnson's first season as the head coach at Boston College, the Eagles hosted Virginia on Feb. 14. Boston College defeated Virginia, 61-49, behind 21 points from Kerri Shields '13. The then-senior hit seven three's in the game, while Kristen Doherty chipped in with 10 points and 11 rebounds. That was the Eagles fourth ACC win that season.
