Football returns to practice, basketball wins with seconds left and men's hockey coach rides the train
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Football: The Boston College football team returned to practice and is ready to get back to business.
As the team begins to prepare for its Dec. 26 matchup against Maryland, the Eagles will rely on their defense to stop the Terrapins strong run game.
Looking to make an impact on the final game of the 2016 season is senior defensive back John Johnson, who grew up 10 minutes from Maryland's campus and is excited to play against them.
Junior defensive end Harold Landry will also look to continue his great play this season as it has earned him many accolades throughout the year.
Men's Basketball: In the final seconds of the Under Armour Reunion at Madison Square Garden, freshman forward Nik Popovic secured the win for the Eagles with two-tenths of a second on the clock to defeat Auburn.
Men's Hockey: As head coach Jerry York continues to recover from his eye surgery, the Eagles chartered to Notre Dame without York. Still not cleared to fly, the head coach took the train overnight to be on the bench for the Hockey East Matchup.
