Meehan Named To NSCAA All-Southeast Region Second Team

Boston College forward McKenzie Meehan was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America 2016 NSCAA All-Southeast Region for NCAA Division I women's teams as announced on Wednesday afternoon. Meehan was named to the second team.
Meehan, a native of Glocester, Rhode Island, led the Eagles in scoring with 12 goals, two assists for 26 points. She will leave BC as the all-time leader in points scored (xxx), goals scored (58) and game-winning goals (18).
A two-time All-ACC first team honoree, Meehan scored a goal or an assist in in 12 of the 18 games she played in this past season. She broke the point scoring record on Sept. 22 against Pittsburgh as the Eagles defeated the Panthers, 3-0. The previous season, Meehan broke the goal scoring record against Pittsburgh.
Meehan earned her undergraduate degree from the Morrissey College of Arts & Sciences in 2015 and will receive her MBA in May of 2017.
