Football looks to put another loss behind them as they prepare for their next game as women's ice hockey welcomes back a familiar face
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Football: In hopes of further validating the work and effort Boston College has been putting in this year, the Eagles headed into battle against no. 5 Louisville led by Heisman Trophy candidate, Lamar Jackson.
While the Eagles had a strategy in place to contain Jackson, the natural talent plus the skill of the rest of the team proved too much for the Eagles. Overwhelmed by the speed of the offense the Eagles ultimately fell to the Cardinals 52-7.
After facing their third ranked currently ranked opponent of the year the ACC is looking stronger each year and the Eagles are facing another ranked opponent in the form of Florida State this Friday.
Women's Ice Hockey: In Finland, a total of six Eagles - past and present - were on the U.S. Women's National Team that won the 2016 Four Nations Cup with a 5-3 win over arch-rival Canada.
Current junior and assistant captain Megan Keller joined alums Alex Carpenter '16, Emily Pfalzer '15 Haley Skarupa '16, Kelli Stack '11 and Dana Trivigno '16 on the gold-medal winning squad.
