CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - College football's regular-season has come to an end but the Eagles have accomplished their goal: becoming bowl-eligible.Â
The 17-14, road win over Wake Forest on Saturday, Nov. 26 qualified Boston College for one of the ACC's 14 bowl games.
The upcoming bowl game - wherever it may be - will be especially meaningful for the seniors, who will get the chance to play one more time with their BC teammates.
For graduate quarterback Patrick Towles, this will be his first collegiate bowl game after missing the postseason while at Kentucky. The other seniors, John Johnson included, will attending their third bowl game in four years under head coach Steve Addazio.Â
Boston College will find out its bowl destination Sunday, Dec. 4. It will be the 25th bowl appearance in school history and the 15th in the last 18 years for the Eagles.
